Having always created in some form or another, initially in textiles then later came painting. I decided to give painting a try and was hooked.
Later taking painting, drawing and illustration subjects at our local TAFE which further fuelled my fire!

An intuitive painter often working from memories and imagination. Layers are built and shapes added from childhood drawings which adds a sense of playfulness to the art.
While Mixed media is such a great way to explore and express your thoughts, lately I have found myself totally consumed with all things watercolour. The colours, gradation and layering process are truly captivating.

Nature is a constant source of inspiration, working with often bright colours in a fun way. I guess itโ€™s how I like to see the world.

Having artwork selected for the Percival Portrait Artist Awards as final selections on two seperate occasions has been a highlight. I Have exhibited art in two joint exhibitions previously at Townsville Art Society.

The freedom to truly express yourself is my favourite part, It is ok to just be you and not have to fit into any mold. Receiving feed back from customers on how the art makes them feel and tell me “it just makes me smile โ€œ is something I will never get sick of hearing. I kind of feel thats my purpose .
