Brenda Stone is an established contemporary artist in the heart of Townsville – designing and creating custom pieces for corporate and residential spaces. Her explosive and electric artwork has brought new life and light to an incredible range of settings. From the hotel rooms of Mariners North Peninsular to local schools; from recently refurbished businesses, to more intimate spaces of residential dining, living and bedrooms. Whether working alone or in collaboration with interior designers, Brenda’s unique artwork is the remarkable combination of space, design and desire – meeting the needs of her clients in the creation of custom artworks for specific purposes and contexts. The last decade has seen the young artist complete over a hundred original pieces, specialising in commissioned abstract art. Graduating from a Bachelor of Visual Arts at James Cook University 2007 in her home town, Brenda has continued to pursue her profession and passion within The Drill Hall Studio Gallery as a resident artist.
