Denise Axelsen is one of our resident artists – check out her story here: https://thedrillhallstudio.com.au/portfolio/denise-axelsen/

This is a large striking forged steel sculpture which is sure to catch the eye. The forged mild steel plant form is enhanced with carved pine flower heads, which have been coated with multiple layers of pink stain and varnish. Botanica proudly stands around 1.5mt tall and spreads about 1.5 mt across. Like a real plant, she has some movement in the breeze, adding to her grace and beauty.
