Townsville based Abstract Artist Brenda Stone grew up around the region and is influenced by its fluent movements and vibrant colours- Graduating in 2007 with her Bachelor of Visual Arts degree with Honours at James Cook University.
Having worked with interior designers and decorators, Brenda has completed many artworks on consignment; designing and creating custom pieces for corporate and residential clients. Her explosive and electric artwork has brought new life and light to an incredible range of settings. From the hotel rooms of Mariners North Peninsular, businesses and private residences.

Carolyn is a master potter, having started potting 48 years ago. She was a foundation member of the Ayr District (now Burdekin) Potters. She completed the Studio Ceramics course at Townsville TAFE in the late 70?s and was a tutor at the Burdekin TAFE when it opened until she got sick and had to give it up.
Over the years Carolyn has been involved in running classes for children & adults. She has also attended many conferences and workshops and has brought what she has learnt back to pass on to the club members and others. She has also arranged workshops with many distinguished Australian potters for the club.
Carolyn?s pottery has been purchased by many people throughout Australia and has travelled overseas. She is especially known for her frog pottery. …
